This entry is dedicated to answer Cecil's question on the previous post on portable broadbands. There are currently a couple that stand out in the market: SmartBro and Globe Tattoo. Both are sold for less than two thousand pesos and Globe Tattoo is cheaper I think by a hundred pesos or something. The price is really immaterial if you come to think of it. Because from SmartBro's portable broadband's initial launch at a little short of five thousand pesos, less than two thousand is not bad. It is good that wireless connection is now made affordable to consumers.

Now to answer the question, it really depends on the location you will be doing the connection. Chances are where Globe signal is strong, then you get a strong connection and the same goes for the SmartBro connection.
