With all the previous talks about financial freedom, even taking steps towards being free of debts, one of the basic things to jump start and get on the right foot this new year is get a totally free credit report. This will enable you to get hold of what your running credit score is and allow you to see where you stand financially.

From here you will know how much of help you would need and get started. It is always best to choose a free credit score than to have to pay for one when you are trying to be free of debt in the first place. And a place where you can get just that is totallyfreecreditreport.org. They are able to provide you an accurate 3 in 1 credit report within five minutes. You can also avail of the free identity theft monitoring that they provide with their service.

We are all aware how rampant identity theft has been going on all around the world, especially in America. No more unauthorized charge on your credit cards from this day forward. Protecting your identity is now made necessary or else it could be a matter of time until technology will go against you.

It's important to note that you are entitled to one free credit report per twelve month period from each of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion). www.AnnualCreditReport.com is where you can order your free reports. It's a good idea to stagger your requests so that you receive one report every four months. The downside is that these reports do not include credit scores.
