Now that our accommodation for Boracay is settled, we are off to pack our stuff and get ready. There are more than a few things to consider when traveling to Boracay. First thing to remember is to bring shorts and light shirts, this is probably what you will be wearing almost the entire to time you will be there.
A good pair of slippers should be in our list as well. In fact, I plan to travel from Manila with my plush pair. Wherever part of the world you are going, locally or otherwise, it is always wise to travel light. You don’t really have a need for extra baggage to carry on, that you might just end up bringing home with you untouched. Medications should also be in our hand carry. It is always best to be ready for any emergencies.
Bring cash but use credit cards whenever you can. It is always wiser to go around the island with plastic. It is safer and it is accepted in almost every establishment. Make sure to drop by pasalubong centers in Boracay and get a few knick knacks to take home to give away to friends.

Good advice overall, but I have one caveat. It would generally be a good idea to bring a lot more cash than plastic, just not carry it all around at any given time. Lots of establishments still don't take credit cards, and a lot of tourists can find themselves with unexpected problems due to a lack of cold cash. Particularly at the airport.
