Water consumption tips

With the incidence of global warming all the more becoming a reality, we should do our share in keeping the cause of mother earth's depletion to a minimum. One way to do look into is making sense of what we do everyday and minimizing our consumption of the things we use around us.

Conserve water for example. How do we do that, when all the things we do everyday has to do with water. We use water when we cook, bathe, clean the house and a lot of other things. What we can actually do is to make use of rain barrels to harvest rain water. This will help to not just help the environment but will also benefit your household by way of reducing the water bill that you have to pay for every month.

Whatever rain water you collect with a rain barrel can be used to water your plants, clean the garage, car, et. al, instead of you having to use it straight from the faucet.

It is these little things that we choose to do that will make a difference. If more people will care enough to do their share, it will mean a great deal to the generations after us.
