Natural Acne Remedy

When every possible brand has been tried and tested and you have lost any hope of clearing you face off those nasty acnes, maybe it is time that you check on the following guideline:

  • Clean skin thoroughly with soap and water. An ultra mild cleanser will be beneficial. Check the brand that is perfect for sensitive skin.
  • Steam your face to open those clogged pores.
  • Shampoo daily.
  • Keep hair away from face.
  • Don't prick acne and pimples.
  • Antibiotics can be directly applied to the pimple such as erythromycin or clindemycin.

Auto Loan Considerations

Gone are the days when looking into an Auto Loan is such a tedious task. The convenience of possibly everything we could think of is now with arm’s reach.

Quick and hassle free processing is now made available. But this does not mean that we grab the first company that makes itself available. In fact, we should also be wise in choosing the best company. Like for example, interest rates. Most lending agencies that give out instant approvals have high interest rates. Always do the math and check the figures. You should also consider the reputation of the company and its loan officers. Their number of years and experience will count a lot even as you decide to do business with them.

Cleaning Vacuum Bottles

Make sure to always hand wash and never immerse glass lined vacuum bottles in dish washing detergent. Use bottle brush and warm water. Invert to dry.

Before filling up the bottle that has absorbed odors or it has been stored for a while, freshen it with a one teaspoon baking soda and warm water. Let it stand for twenty minutes, scrub out with the bottle brush, rinse and air-day.

The 3 Day Diet

I have only tried one kind of diet in my entire life - The 3 Day Diet. I first read about it in one of the columns from a daily newspaper. I am sharing this with you basically because it did work for me. It was good that I did not have to take alli diet pills, although I heard of it being effective.

I lost a total of seven pounds. A lot have attested to having lost as much as ten pounds in a short period of time and a handful of friends who I personally shared this with also vouched that it worked for them as well.

Apparently, the reason behind the diet being effective is the chemical break down of all the foods in each meal combined. If you are doing this diet, take care not to substitute more than three items from all the meals- on all three days. The only condiments allowed are: lemon (and lots of it, if you like) a dash of salt and/or pepper.

DAY 1
Breakfast
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water
1/2 Grapefruit or Juice
1 slice toast with 1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter

1 slice toast
Black coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water

Supper
3 oz. any lean meat

Some Tips on Choosing Wrting Services

There are indeed a lot of convenience the internet has brought to the world. As I have formerly mentioned, one biggie for me is the online shopping readily available and payments made via funds transfer. Reading materials, home schooling and what not can also be readily accessible.

Online essays are also around for our convenience. There are some things that we need to look into when one is considering to buy an essay.

You should make sure to choose essay writing services with a team of writers having years of experience to back them up. This is important because they will have to analyze the need for your project and research should be done. Most services just do a general browsing of sorts and that’s it. Strict standard should be a priority.

As you allow the writer to check your former articles, you should be able to gauge from first write up that he or she has come up with. When you figure out it he is not able to get a grasp of your writing style, move to another team the next time. Proof reading should also go without saying. Again, you will find this out from the finished article. They should have a software that scans for plagiarism.

Choose a Durable Luggage

The first ever luggage the hubby and I bought together, a month before our wedding, was a red Delsey luggage.  The budget is a primary consideration, because we were tight back then even as wedding expenses piled up.  We were lucky to have found a good buy.  It was like a sleek combo with a back pack that zips in with the main luggage.  We were thrilled.

Going seven years and it still is doing great.  In fact, I use it now to store the little guy's baby stuff, just in case a cousin or a baby brother or sister comes in the coming years.  This photo was taken minutes before we drove to the airport for our flight to our Boracay honeymoon. :D

Preparing for the Holidays

It is never too early to prepare for the holidays. Usually the "ber" months signifies the up and coming holiday season - Trick or Treats time for the kids, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year and some minor ones in between.

Although the putting up of tree months before Christmas is a rather controversial issue, which deserves another article altogether, it is still an option for other households.  Aside from the trees, one can actually make use of the bargains that comes after Thanksgiving to save on those gifts that you put under the tree.

Make sure to grocery shop for ingredients needed.  This goes out only for items that can be stored in the coming months.  This lessens the burden of holiday preparation.  Make that Christmas dinner recipes book handy.  Plan your menu for the yearly family gatherings.  A stress free upcoming holidays to everyone!

Use Vinegar to Clean Veggies

Talking about weight loss pill gets me down to considering to seriously go organic. If we come to think of it, pesticides are aplenty on what we consider healthy foods - vegetables. From the side of the world we are in, organic means pricey. And that is not as easy to afford as to sticking to the usualy grocery store veggies.

Organic is really your best option. But if you can't afford organic just yet. A simple yet effective way of rinsing pesticides off your veggies is soak them in a tub of water with white vinegar for five minutes. I understand that there are veggie cleaner all over the market, but this one is as effective.

Stay Healthy

The least that we could have our family have is a lifestyle that's healthy and fit.  With all the junk and crappy foods available commercially, it is easy to jump into patronizing those "instant" food stuff.

In our quest to be proactive in this area, we recently got rid of our six year old microwave.  A wedding gift that we have been using.  When I read about the dangers of getting our food nuked, it all made sense to me and we decided to heat everything the primitive way, if that is how you call it - stove top way.

This is one of the ways that you can choose to live healthy.  Obesity usually is a result from indulging on all those crappy foods.  Not only do we not need to pop in those diet pills, but we actually increase the quality of life that we have because we are healthier.  And as they say,  "Health is Wealth!"

Stay Prompt

To avoid issues on penalties with mortgages, premiums on life and car insurance, always make sure that payments are made before they are due.  With things that make us busy on a daily basis, it is easy to just about have these things slip off our minds.

Make a list of due dates of premiums, bills and everything that is paid for on a regular basis and have it occupy a corner in the family bulletin board (if you have any), for that easy, visual reminder.

Goodbye to Clutter

Clutter takes away the smile off someone's face, dampens the spirit, and so should not be tolerated.

We are not just talking about moving around clutter from one shelf to another. We are talking about de-cluttering every room of your home. Say good-bye to the dust, say good-bye to the junk – say hello to room to breathe and move around! Now, doesn’t that sound delightful?

Make that list of what you absolutely want done. Think about those leaning tower of Pisa papers in the den, then move slowly into the family room. See any piles of old photos just crying out to be placed in a photo album? Write that one down. How about those piles of clothing sitting in the bottom of your daughters closet just waiting for a mother’s touch. Write that one down, too!

Look at a list of very workable, one-at-a-time chores that can be assigned throughout a busy day. The idea is to get started and work your way around. By the end of the day, you will have a beautiful, uncluttered home as your reward!

Do not become discouraged if your attempt to enlist your husband and children runs a-muck. Just write them down on your list as those who require an attitude adjustment and then save that chore for next time. There is always hope!

If you are like me, you really do not want a second pair of meddling hands anyway; some chores are best left to only one pair of hands. That way you can be sure that the chores will be done right the first time.

The Convenience of Doing Errands Online

One great tip that can make use of is maximizing the benefits of the evolution of internet. The world wide web is more than just for browsing for that information that you need. More than this, you can have it work for you even for your usual shopping errands. I know a lot of friends who have been doing this for quite some time, and it works for them as it does for me. Its convenience can really work for us if we come to think about it.

This has personally helped me manage my household. In fact, the bills that we regularly have to pay in a monthly basis, from utilities to mortgage to my small prepaid mobile loading business, I get to do transactions online and so far in the years that I have been doing these online transfers, the much feared risks are all unfounded. I suppose these banking sites have a great deal of security measures in their network as compared to other regular shopping sites.

Another interesting site that I have come across with is that of this essay web page. Whether you are a student or not, if you are looking into essays of varied topics, this is the page to go to. Their wide array of available topics and what’s more is this becomes even more viable especially if you are a webmaster like me, you are given the opportunity to earn from the convenience of your home just by joining their affiliate program. And if you are a student or a writer, no article need go to waste. This applies to whatever language. No discrimination, which makes it even neater. You can sell it to them for as much as 350 Euros. If that is not inviting, I don’t know what is. Go over their site and check it out for more details.

String Tie to Manage Wires

This is of major importance in our household. With a makeshift workstation for the hubby and me, we always get all those wayward wires and HDMI cables all over the place. With a toddler in our home, we know we have to manage these.

The first thing to do is get everything in place. For us, we had to set up our respective computers and work our way thereafter to neatly bundle up the wires and get them string tied. It is important to work on getting the computers in place first before managing the wires because, if you do it the other way around and the wires are all in place, you might tie it up in a way that will not adjust to how you would want your computers to be set up.

Link Building Tips

Majority of the traffic this site gets is from fellow bloggers and this to say the obvious this tip goes out to all of us who have been asking each other for like exchange and all those necessary things we think we need to get done to get our statistics to shoot up. One fact to consider is to join The ListBuilding Club. If there is anything that I have learned in being a webmaster of several blogs, this is really what matters, as opposed to link exchanges.

I know a lot of us would love to get the numbers and stress ourselves to manipulate them, either by doing the aforemention link exchanges, even the handful of tagging and memes that pass out to others that claims shooting up our Technorati standing of sorts. Right from the beginning of my pro bloging, my mentor has been keen in telling me to invest my time instead in link building which will ultimately be beneficial for my lone blog then. Six more blogs later and I am just getting into it and learning.

Check out ListCrusaders.com and learn about their quickstart program and be in the know and get down to seriously monetizing your site.

Carpet Problems

Always make sure you save the manufacturer’s label when you buy a new carpet, or most things else, for that matter. This could save a lot of stress when emergency comes. Like for instance if one accidentally spills wine over it.

The key to preventing stains on carpets is to act as fast as you could. Always blot the spills right away with paper towels or a clean white towel. Scrape away any sediment with a spoon. Cover the area with a clean white towel and place a sheet of plastic or aluminum foil over the towel. Lay books on top. Repeat the process the next day if the stain is still there.

Are You an Organized Person?

The first step to going about the organizing business is to define yourself first. This is important, so that even as you get to know your strengths and weakness, you get to improve on them and consciously drop some habits that are not beneficial.

Here are some questions you can ask yourself:
1. How long does it usually take you to unearth particular things like letter, bill, report or files?
2. Check your desk if there are loose papers other than important reference materials. Are these things have been there lying for over a month?
3. Was there ever a time that your utilities got disconnected because you forgot to pay them on time?
4. Have you ever overlooked appointments, anniversaries
5. Do you have books and magazines piled up that you have meant to read?
6. Do you usually put off work assignments until the last minute and rationalize as you are better at rising to the occasion during crunch time.
7. How frequently do you misplace your car keys, mobile, eyeglasses and other items you commonly carry with you?
8. Do you often stack up your things in a corner of your closest until it piles up because you cannot decide where to put them?
9. Do you honestly think your storage problems will be solved if you only have more space?
10. Do you dream of being an organized person but you get downhearted when you see all the mess that you don't know where to start?
11. Do you give out household assignments to your kids that they carry out willingly?
12. By the day's end, do you usually realize that you have accomplished the majority of things in your list?
13. Do you have the most commonly used kitchen items in the most convenient place?
14. Check out your living room. Is it arranged in such a way that family can speak comfortably without having to raise their voices?

A Handy Tip For Home Improvement Projects

It was more than a year ago when we moved in to our newly built house. Our house’s floor area is only 48 square meters and it took a bit of my engineering background to design a floor plan for our own house. After making a floor plan, my wife and I then had to look for the right contractor who can give us the cheapest price per square meter but at the same time provide us what we want and give us the best deal.

The first contractor we talked to was so eager to get the job but talked and acted as if it was their house they were going to build. They didn’t allow us to have what we wanted and since they knew better, they acted that way and most of the time did not listen to what we wanted or sometimes they would but they would always have a negative reaction toward our sentiments.

It really is difficult a lot of times frustrating to find a contractor for house constructions, renovations, or home improvement projects.

Servicespider_logo

A handy tip is to find the right web site that can give you the necessary information you need as you look for the right contractor. ServiceSpider.com is a web site that can be very handy when it comes to this issue or concern. They connect homeowners and local contractors for free.

I would encourage you to visit this site and post your remodel and home improvement projects on their site. And, in addition to that, get a chance to receive a $25 gas card or a $100 home improvement gift card this fall. The first 100 people to post a project on ServiceSpider will receive a $25 gas card while the first 10 people to complete a project through their site will receive a $100 home improvement gift card. Check this site out now.

Household Chores for 5 Year Old Kids

It is sometimes an issue for a parent like me to think about the perfect age to delegate chores to a child. I hope to share with you, dear readers, some chores that a five year old kid can easily do. It is very important to allow kids to feel a sense of responsibility at an early age. These tasks are easy and can be made fun. They do not need to feel that these things are burdens. It is actually helping them to form good habits that they will benefit from in the long run.

Chores a five year old can do:
1. Make his own bed. At first do not expect that this will be done neatly. He would be an expert on this in no time, you'll see.
2. Take his clean clothes to his own closet.
3. Pack away his toys. I honestly have trained my own child to do this right from six months of age. He's breezing through this task now that he is turning three.
4. Water the plants.
5. Feed the pets. (dog, cat or fish)
6. Clear the table after eating.

These tasks should not be expected to be done perfectly at first. The child should be taught a step by step process. Train the child from square one. At first supervision will be needed, but later allow him to grow in his responsibility with reminders from time to time. Remember to commend him every time when he's done his chore. Give him a clear instruction on when you expect things to be done, so that this habit will be a part of his daily routine.

Always keep in mind that household chore assignments given to children should be equal to their ages and abilities. Remember that an hour is about the reasonable expected time of children to do their tasks. Another important thing is never redo the tasks that were done by the child. Let him feel you trust him enough.
