Insurance Tip: Avail of Force Majeure Feature
We will be paying off our home insurance before the month ends. The cost of the premium is almost a hundred dollars. But truth be told, we rather that we will never have to make a claim. This time around we are paying two grand more on the home insurance premium because we availed of the feature "force majeure." After the Ondoy incident last September 2009, wherein our house submerged in flood, there is no way we're taking chances. Although our insurance agent was so sure that it's not going to happen in the next 30 years. I can only wish we availed of the "force majeure" feature right from the start.
When it comes to getting your home insured, it is really the homeowner's call and it is always wise to have yours insured.
