If you happen to be one of those who have less than perfect vision, then you know how important early diagnosis is if you have eye problems. There are a handful of signs that can warn adults of vision problems. Some of them are double vision, difficulty in reading whether it be doing up close or the reading material is required to be a certain distance for you to be able to understand it. I personally have an issue with my vision at night. This is one of the reasons that I cannot drive at night. These are just a few warning signs of vision problems in adults.
Pin pointing a vision problem in children can be more of a challenge unless they give you hints. You can tell when they squint a lot, holding books too close to their faces, redness of the eyes, family history of eye impairment like lazy eyes, et. al.
It will be interesting to know that 90% of sports related eye injuries are preventable by using Eye Protection. This should be reason enough for people who are active in sports activities to wear their complete gear, including eyewear to prevent accidents. Make sure to head over TheVisionCouncil.org to know more how you could protect yourself and your family from having vision problems.
