Porcelain Sink Care

How does one care for porcelain sinks? Is it anything different from the maintenance of farmhouse sinks? Porcelain sinks are easy to clean, but you just have to do it with much care that you do not use abrasive scrubs that might hurt the make.

Just fill the sink with lukewarm water, adding an ounce of chlorine bleach. Just leave it for an hour. For more stubborn stains, use paper towels that were soaked on bleach and leave the sink unused for ten straight hours, leaving the paper lined up where the stains are.

No More Clogged Sinks

Did you know that you can actually do something to stop your sink from clogging every so often? It is called sink management and a task so easy that even a child can do it. Just make sure to pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain, immediatedly follow it with one cup of white vinegar. After ten minutes flush sink with six cups of boiling water. Done twice a month you just might never have to go through the hassles of declogging sinks.
