More often than not intimidation is the reason why we do not get down to cleaning our room. When we get overwhelmed to do particular tasks, it is so much easier to leave it as is than to bother how to get about living in a better place.

First thing to do is envision your room being the way you want it to be – clean, that is. Never let the clutter overwhelm you. Set a specific goal of starting the cleaning project. Depending on the room you are looking into, if it’s a bedroom then make sure you make the minute tasks without problem like making the bed. If your project involves the washroom, then clean sinks will be the easiest to start with.

Get a hold of the cleaning tools that you will need and get down to it. Now, maintaining is another issue.

Tips on Keeping Dust at Bay

Here are some tips on how to keep dust at bay in your room. First of all, always choose window treatments that will gather less dust. Tropical countries especially almost always guarantee that dust will get through every possible hole, as little as it may seem. If you choose to use drapes. Wash them regularly. Let go of small decorations that will just collect dusts. If you have a special collection get a special cabinet to have them displayed. Never along side every other things in the console table. 

Carpets invites dustmites. These pretty things are not ideal in tropical countries. Use tiles or vinyl flooring instead. Make sure to launder beddings every week.

Cleaning Tip: How to Clean Rust Off Chrome

Nothing spoils the look of anything chrome than rust. It is a total turn off. Whether chrome bicycles, wheels chrome trim, faucet, et.al. Here is a tip on how to clean the rust off your chrome beauties. 

The first thing to do is wash the part of the chrome with rust with soap and water. Just the regular kind of washing. Get hold of a reliable chrome polish and use a steel wool with it as you gently scrub away.
