Practical Tip: Watches and Magnets

For the longest time, we have had this wrong notion that keeping watches close together in our drawers will discharge one of the watches that are inside. While there might be a reason for us to believe this, it is not true.

The reason why batteries of watches get discharged can be the presence of anything with magnet within the same space the watch is in. For some reason that we may not be aware of magnets are present in some of your accessories you put your watch in. A metal detectors garrett might be of help. Just to be sure that no metal is around to seep the charge out of those batteries.
