Tips on Soundproofing a Room

So you are a music lover and you are on to your quest to get that music room jump started. The thing here is, how to go about it without having your neighbors experience the same irritation you have had to go through for years with their drums echoing to the next street. There are few basics to setting up your music room.

First is to determine which room in the house you will label as music room. This is preferably the farthest from the rest of the rooms in the house. Look into the avenue that you can afford to soundproof - insulation? foam? carpet? pads?
The key really is to get the sound coming from your room, guitar sounds from good acoustic di box from guitar center or any other instrument as muffled as they should be.
