Tips on Transferring Patient Through Medical Air Evacuation

During emergencies, it is a must that everyone must respond to certain situations appropriately and of course, immediately. One of the situations that require immediate response is a medical emergency; it is fine if you are able to bring the patient in a hospital or any medical facility that can attend to your patient’s medical condition, but what if you are in a secluded area and the nearest hospital is miles away?

This is where medical air evacuation comes in. I am sure that most of you have already heard about medical air evacuation, but for those who don’t, it is a service offered by several companies wherein they can aerially lift the patient from a secluded place, for instance, to a medical facility. During the transfer, a trained nurse or doctor (or both) is present to monitor the patient during the evacuation process to safeguard the patient and keep him stable while he is being transported.
