Doctor’s Mostly Used Gizmo

This may be referred to one of the doctor’s best friend. Termed as "high-frequency electrocautery device", a bovie is used in electrosurgeries to cut down tissues via application of electrically heated prong. For newbie medical practitioners, the following tips may be of help in using this little gadget.

You can use bovie to make a pattern mark in surgery. One doctor applied this is his operation. He made a dashed line on the wall the patient’s body part to keep on the track and avoid damaging other parts. In other cases, like in caesarean birth, be very careful of the gizmo as not to burn the baby, okay? This has happened a lot of times, unfortunately harming both the baby and the patient.
