Tips on Boot Care

Aside from the horses, the second best partner every equestrian has is their riding boots. Unlike any other waders, this is especially made to be used for horse riding. Whether you are using it for pleasure riding or horse show, still you want to keep your good ol’ boots polished and clean.

After wearing, wipe your english riding boots with a dampened soft cloth. This will help soften the caked dirt and defuse the effects of acids and salts to the leather due to horse sweat. Use firm brush to take off mud from the soles. After cleaning it up with an ivory soap, leave it in an open space and let it dry completely. Lastly, like most footwear, apply some boot polish to give it a shine.
