Wash Cars Regularly

How often should a car owner wash his car/s? I guess this is a matter of priority and vicinity. Priority in a sense that it really depends on the owner on how much he values his vehicle and vicinity in a sense that there are places that are just dustier than others.

Keep in mind that not only Cool Super Cars are in need of regular washing. Sure you might be busy and all but you have got to wash your car at least once a week. How about you, how often do you wash your cars?

Bathroom Storage

Now that my bathroom is built, it is too taxing to have a storage built on one of the side walls. One neat thing that one could consider with the same dilemma that I am in is making a new storage right below the lavatory. Installation of which will not cause much damage because unlike if it's in the wall, the tiles will get broken and it will be so much mess.

Installing a shelf is the easiest makeshift storage space anyone can do. This is where you could put cosmetics, toiletries and other grooming aides. The materials to use are just your basic plywood, have it painted with the same color of your bath's overall theme.

Reader's Digest Online

I recently stumbled upon a great blog for families. A treasure find indeed! Having been an avid reader of Reader’s Digest myself since I cannot anymore remember when, it should not be a surprise how they come up with such invaluable site that families can benefit from.

Reader’s Digest online allows for families to get a hold of great tips to improve and maintain harmony inside the home. In a chaotic world that we are already in, it will one great deal if families are given the chance to enjoy a stress free environment.

RD.com - Parenting also shares great tips for stress free travels with the family. When I was browsing through RD.com - Family Life, I easily got hooked on their page of family fun on a budget. Life is never easy. Just when you thought you were over diaper and milk formula expenses, there comes the pre-school education budget needs. It allows for parents like me to think out of the box and go back to basics. Being frugal does not mean withholding the child anything. More than the material things the commercials are exposing every household to, creating needs to buy this and that to satisfy the kids. These are all quick fixes if we come to think of it, what these children really need are our undivided attention. It might take creativity on the part of parents to juggle and device a system that will work for them, but the bottom line is, their presence is of utmost importance.

I really do love this site. It actually reinforces the beliefs I have when it comes to parenting. Very handy for parents who may be in the dark or even those who can use some bits and pieces of advice in handling relationships in the family.

Cleaning Oriental or Persian Rugs

I remember how painstakingly it was to even attempt cleaning oriental and persian rugs. They are classy and elegant all right, but if you don't get the right people to have it maintained, all you will have later on is a smelly piece of household centerpiece. I tell you, the smell of an old unmaintained rug is not pretty. Leave the professionals to do the job. There is no other way to do it. You cannot scrub it clean yourself.

Save on Ink Cartridges

Being my own household manager, I continue to quest in exploring all the things that we could do as a family to maximize everything. From food, storage, money, savings even in choosing the most affordable canon ink cartridges. More than just there is a considerable need to be frugal, it is I believe an essential in stewardship.

As I run our household, the hubby runs his ministry. And even though he pastors a church in another city and have his office there, he also runs his office most times of the week at home. One consumable item that we have been spending so much on is ink cartridge for our printer. Even as he runs his office, this is already a given. The printing out of flyers, weekly bulletins and I used to do a lot of printing too, especially when I had my classes last year. Tons and tons of paper works that I had submitted. These days my printer usage is at its minimum, but the hubby’s printing works are at its peak. He is conducting several seminars a week, plus all the other documents he needs done that I had to step back and look closely if there was anything we could do to cut down on those cartridges.
Pacific-ink-logo

I figured the best to do is get a hold of the cheapest but reliable dealer. I found just that at PacificInc.com. Their prices are competitive and allows for us to save up to 70% compared to what the manufacturers charge their customers. That’s a huge amount of savings! They do no hassle door to door delivery. Whether its epson ink cartridges or dell printer cartridges are what you need, you will always be sure to get the best deal from Pacific Inc. Now don’t have to spend on cartridges more than you have to.

Hanging Clothes in Your Closet

Make sure to put clothes hanger in such a way that all the hook points are away from you. This makes the task of taking out the clothes much easier if it would be done otherwise. Divide the space such as there is a place where all short clothing articles are and long ones at another side. This will give an extra space to stack in some folded clothes underneath the short hanged clothes.

Counter Space

Make sure to put away clean utensils and dishes as soon as they are dry. A larger and clear working space will always be beneficial as you work your way around the kitchen.

Install fold down racks that can help you maximize your space. Utilized drawers to put away unnecessary items on top of the counter. Blenders and other bulky appliances on pop up shelves whenever possible.

Mary the Marshal

The most talked about USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight will premier tonight. A very interesting crime drama starring Mary McCormack as Ms. Shannon in a lead role playing a U.S. Marshal in a witness protection program. She is living a double life because her job cannot be disclosed even to her closest of relatives.

This show moves away from the stereotype guy agent and that is what I love about it. It would be Mary’s character that I would strongly relate to. Smart, tough and savvy. She also has a mom and a little sister like I do.

Kitchen Efficiency

More often than not keeping the kitchen in order can be a real challenge. Some things to keep in mind is to have toasters, mixers, within reach. This is why you bought them in the first place. When you have them stored, it can be an additional chore to get each one.

What about clutter? Get these small appliances behind small shutters. Cans and jars in easy to spot rows. You can consider narrow shelves installation for this particular purpose.

Keeping a Clear Entrance

Boots and overshoes should always have a place to be deposited in like a box by the entrance of the house. Don't forget to line the bottom with a trash bag.

Storage boxes should also be made available for the athletes in the house. This is where they could reach out for their gears and a bench would also be neat. This will encourage them to sit down to take off muddy gears.

Place a large sponge to absorb rain water at the bottom of umbrella stands.

Coming Soon: Bleach the Movie

Bleach the Movie is coming up real soon to the big screen. This Japanese manga series is written by Tite Kubo, showcasing the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, a middle school student who has the ability to see ghosts. The movie is to rock the theaters nationwide on June 11 and 12.

If I were to pick a manga name it would be “Shan Kihaku,” which means beautiful soul. And my character would originally come from the Soul Society, who chooses to make a difference by helping others through great powers from within.

Storing Audio Visual Gears

Wouldn't it be nice when you do not need to stoop up to find that album or dvd that you want played? It is wise to store your records, tapes and dvds at eye level. It is easier to locate them without the need for a step ladder and have players just above waist levels. Make sure also that all electronic equipment is adequately ventilated.

In Plain Sight

One of the things families of all shapes and sizes love is to relax at home and watch videos. At least this is how it is in this side of the world.

One of the more interesting new series that I hope to be able to watch with the hubby is USA Network's new original series In Plain Sight. Cop-type drama can be the most interesting of series. It revolves around the character of Mary Shannon who is in charge to watch over federal witnesses. Mary has a father like boss in the character of Stan McQueen. Totally original plot.

Here is video where I would relocate if I were under a witness protection program. Can you guess my choice of city to hide in?
