Social Sparkling!

Having joined several platforms that offer pay for blogging and I have to say that not many of them deliver. Others even offer only limited ones, like the ones that promote their site and that of several other gambling ones – which opportunities I don’t take. It just gives a bad taste to your blog. As you must have noticed, I have been posting away along side my usual household tips and handy tips some sponsored post from SocialSpark.com and as they allow for transparency, it gives us bloggers a nicer edge of keeping the posts we do, nofollow. It’s fun. Plus the fact that the internet robots wouldn’t have to label our blogs as linky farms because of their great overall concept.

In all honesty, I loved doing the posts for SocialSpark. More than the earnings it gives, it adds creativity and fun to the blog. I have had been given the opportunities to blog about pants that everyone love, Dockers, some household darlings like that of Silk Plants, et al.

I am so looking forward to more interesting posts to do. Maybe even of those things that I love like perfume, some household stuff, even things I could incorporate in giving tips that are valuable. I honestly cannot help but love SocialSpark. They make blogging more fun!

Lost Or Stolen Cards

It is always wise to have a photocopy of credit cards and carry a copy wherever you are. So in case of loss, you will have a copy of the series of number to report and lessen the risk of having someone forge and use your account. Make sure to call your card issuer immediately. After having reported the loss, you are no longer liable for charges that are made into your account.

Bills Payment

How many times have you gone past your bills due date? Do you ever wish there was an alarm for every bill that needs to get paid? How can one actually device an effective plan on getting bills paid on time, every time?

The dilemma is if you pay bills as soon as you receive the notice, you run the risk of losing interest on that money in the bank, if you put it off, you also run the risk of getting penalized. It is wise to get every due date for every bill that needs to get paid, then get two separate dates each month where you have them paid at the same time. Lesser interest loss, more use of your time, plus a whole lot of convenience than having to pay each one on different dates.

Coming Soon

On May 20 and 21 a big event is going to hit the theatres. I am not really a great fan of scary movies. But I know a handful of people who are going to enjoy this yet unrated film based on the supernatural action-mystery manga, which revolves around a notebook discovered by a student. Sounds familiar? Well, there more to it than just that, as the title suggests, that DeathNote contains the names of people who will soon die.

It does give a sweet ring to everyone on the reality of death and even as scary as the movie is, it does make people think of the what ifs.

When Sales Occur

With the vast a topic such as budgeting, who could stay away from the fact that there are just emergency purchases such as those on sale. But the truth of the matter is, seasonal sales are almost non-existent anymore. You practically can get things on sale across all the months of the year. So when you get the temptation to just about spend outside your budget, think it over. Go home and talk about it with your partner before going on that shopping spree.

If Pants Could Talk

It is jeans and shirt for the majority of people I see whenever I go out. This is what I have favored as well through the years. Nothing can come close to the comfort and style of wearing a pair of pants. The difference in cuts and style spell out the character of the wearer one way or another.

If my favorite pair of pants can just talk, it would probably nag me to get her a twin. I have possibly abused her through the number of years I have been with her. I attempted to get her replaced but nothing matches her fit. You see I have bought a couple of pairs but I always go back to my trusty pants that fit me just right. Pairs of pants that are sure to deliver that same comfort and style that everybody is after, is Dockers, hands down. From comfort, to the stylish cuts, you will know even from afar if it’s one or just one of those wannabees.

If you think you have that pair of pants that tell a story, go share it on Dockers contest. Get that creative juices work for you and get that video submitted and get that rare chance to have your genius shown on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Fashion Tip

If there is anyone from Hollywood that I consider a fashion icon, it would be no less than Katie Holmes. Classic elegance, bar none. Her fashion sense is sleek, yet real. Ultra glamorous, yet reachable. I have read countless of criticism over her weight loss recently, but still you can’t take out the fact that she remains a topnotch when she carries herself especially in those jeans, despite the many instances the paparazzi would catch her carrying cutie Suri, she remains gorgeous.

As for me, as much as I love how Katie carries herself, I still have my own take on fashion and how I carry myself. I definitely love comfort. I have given out many jeans after a couple of uses, simply because they don’t feel right and it is not so me. Comfort and style should definitely go together.

Preferences. This is what all of us are entitled to and need to get a grasp of sooner or later. It would just not make sense if all of us would look the same. There is this Dockers contest one could showcase his or her fashion style. All you need to do is capture that 30 second video incorporating your fashion style with Dockers and have your entry get in between April 29 to June 6, 2008. You just might have what it takes to stardom and have your very entry shown at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and NBC.com.

Check Writing

Be careful in writing checks. Bad checks will cost you service charges from banks and writing bad ones habitually will hurt your credit reputation. The truth of the matter is even if you have enough funds, if you've written a bad check it can bounce and get you charged with a service fee from the bank.

If you think you need help in check writing, ask a personnel from the bank for assistance. It is always wise to learn that keep on repeating the same mistake over again. If you think you have learned the hard way, you may have to device a system to remind you of the points you need to remember.

Budgeting and Bank Accounts

It is wise to have a separate bank account for bills payment. This will prove to be beneficial when you need to trace back to previous transactions. It will be better for families to have the husband and wife open this as an AND JOINT account. Not just for trust issues, this will allow openness and transparency even as each transaction is authorized by both.

SocialSpark!

I personally think that we should always do our best to walk our talk. Even as these tips that I share here are aplenty, I honestly try my best to incorporate the values shared in every tip, if not follow them all to the letter. Not that I declare to be authority of organization, but I believe that how we conduct things in our daily lives reflect our very beings one way or another.

Another tip that I would like to share with my blogger readers and adverts alike is to sign up with SocialSpark. I am a newbie of this team and I am glad that I have signed up from the first invitation. I especially like SocialSpark because it allows transparency in posts, which makes the whole difference from other blog advertising service sites. The values they carry are:

-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly

I love the fact that each sponsored post I do for SocialSpark has a nofollow attribute, which allows for my blog to not be labeled as a link farm that besets blogs to get slapped out of their page ranks sooner or later. Another thing that drove me to favor SocialSpark is it is a lot like friendster and facebook in its neat social community feature. We bloggers can actually socialize and get to know fellow bloggers and not just have them in the back of our minds as just one of our competitors for opportunity takings. What’s more is we get to meet the adverts as well. I don’t know about you, but I have yet to see a blog advertising service as neat as this.

Office at Home

If you conduct your business at home, it is most ideal to have a separate room where you will hold office. If this is not possible with your current home set up, own a corner in your home and set it up as your office. Put up partitions, this should not cost you so much. Psychologically defining your personal/family space to that of your business will be healthy and beneficial both for your well being and your business' success.

Some necessary things to check out for that office corners are: electrical outlets for your workstation, good lighting and a comfortable desk.

Dockers Global

240x180

Pants are an everyday wear for any family. They are just something families of today live with. And when it comes to pants there is one and only sole authority – Dockers. I recently just stumbled upon the ultimate Dockers contest. All that one has to do is make a 30 minute video commercial. No purchase necessary. How cool can a contest get? I do not remember many a contest requiring no purchase. If at all, this is usually part of their promotion to hike their sales up, but not with Dockers. I viewed a number of entries and this is my favorite.

Its simplicity and the message came across with suave stating the fact that wherever part of the world you are, Dockers is global and it is inevitable that it would be known to all. Despite the different translations of the word pants, Dockers is practically the universal term for pants and it reinforces the authority that Dockers already has.

If you think you have the creativity to make a video and have it aired on the June 13, 2008 broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in NBC.com then go grab your handycam, mobile phone or any tech gadget that you will need to make that video. You never know, your creative mind might just be what it takes to get your very own video live as an official Dockers commercial.

Pointers in Conducting a Home Business

Always make sure you have enough supplies so you would not have to rush out to a store in the middle of your business hours to replenish. There will be some few weeks or even months that you will have to take down notes on how the demand does in a day to day basis. Somehow from this observation you can gauge approximately how much you need. When you have got this figured out, double the amount. This will apply though to non-food products. Or if they are food products make sure the expiry date is not near to the current date.

One of the mistakes of people who do their business at home is they do not "dress" for work. You don't necessarily need to come up with a uniform. Just make sure you do not conduct your business in your house dress or something.

One fun thing you can do is "walk to work." Who says you can't do that when you work right at home. It could be fun to walk around the block and back home to give you that energy boost and exercise that you need to have your job done effectively throughout the day.

Banish all clutters around your office area or workstation. It is a common mistake for the self-employed people to keep stacking clutters up. De-clutter when you can. This can be done in an everyday basis.

Be professional in your own business time. If you become strict with how you conduct your business at home, people around you will respect your rules in the long run. At the start people may tend to take for granted that your home and may interrupt you from time to time. Set the rules. It will always be good for you and your business to arrange non-business talks for later.

More on Online Shopping

One of the valuable tips we shared here in one of our more recent entries is easing the burden by shopping online. It really could be the neatest thing that could come to be a partner of a homemaker like me. These online shops are giving us more than just convenience. We wouldn’t even have to withdraw cash from our bank accounts to make the necessary payments. The convenience of shopping online, partnered with ecommerce software such as that of ashop that allows clients to pay via major platforms makes online shopping even more of a winner. The USA Epay gateway review would agree to this fact. The USA ePay supports a large number of merchants and has a good reputation to boot.

This is probably one of the best contribution of internet to our modern society. It is definitely something that was close to impossible several years back but the technology is here for us to enjoy now.
